आख़िर भावना को क्यों पसंद आई ' लफंगे परिंदे '

शुक्रवार को पूरे देश में यशराज की फ़िल्म ' लफंगे परिंदे ' रिलीज़ हो गयी . ज़ाहिर तौर से जब नई फिल्म रिलीज़ होती है तो उसकी समीक्षा भी की जाती है . लेकिन इस फ़िल्म की समीक्षा को लेकर जाने -मानी फिल्म समीक्षक भावना सोमाया की राय बाकि के फ़िल्म समीक्षकों से बिलकुल अलग है . भावना सोमाया ने बीबीसी हिंदी की वेबसाइट पर की गयी अपनी समीक्षा में कहा है की ' इस फ़िल्म में दम है ' . उन्होंने इस फ़िल्म की खुलकर तारीफ करते हुए लोगों से इसे देखने की गुज़ारिश भी की है .
‘लफ़ंगे परिंदे’ ज़रुर देखनी चाहिए नील के लिए, दीपिका के लिए, उसके नाच के लिए और प्रदीप सरकार की हिम्मत के लिए

लेकिन इसके विपरीत दूसरे फ़िल्म समीक्षकों की राय भावना से बिलकुल अलग है .
इंडिया एक्सप्रेस में अपनी समीक्षा में शुभ्रा गुप्ता ने इस फ़िल्म की समीक्षा करते हुए कहा है की यह फ़िल्म टाइटल से हीं भ्रमित नज़र आती है -

Shubra gupta of Indian Express writes-- What we get is a film that raises its head once in a while to deliver a few nice moments, and then lies down again, supine.

The confusion of voice and vision starts from the title. The talent contest, which is meant to be the high point of the film, lets Padukone show off her dancing skills, and allows the high-powered judges ( Shiamak Davar, Jaaved Jafferi and Juhi Chawla) to be moved to tears, and for us to wait, ungulpingly, for them to wipe their eyes.

Strictly passable, without the knock-out punch.
हिंदुस्तान टाइम्स में मयंक शेखर ने अपनी समीक्षा में इस फ़िल्म में बे सिर- पैर के सीन डालने पर आश्चर्य जताया है

Mayank shekhar of Hindustan times writes-- There’s but too little of dance here, and most of it rank ordinary to make the genre’s grade. The blindfolded hero knocks his opponents out with a single punch. Men fight like cocks. Betting crowds surround the ring. This has to be a street fighter boxing movie then.

You will never know. I give up. It’s not even worth trying to figure. The overloaded confusion never ends.

Such scatter-brained, mish-mash of a movie is only possible when the makers' eyeballs are trained at some sucker or the other the cinema's intended for, and not the soul of even a semblance of a script. I’m sorry, but my eyes are turning bleary now. Be careful. So would yours.
वही सीएनएन आईबीएन चैनल के जाने -माने पत्रकार राजीव मसंद ने इस फ़िल्म को बकवास क़रार दिया है . उनका कहना है यह फिल्म देखना पैसे की बर्बादी है .
Masand: 'Lafangey Parindey' is pointless, boring
'Lafangey Parindey' isn't a particularly bad film; it's just not a good film either. It's the kind of film that keeps you waiting for something to happen, but nothing ever does. There's no element of surprise or unpredictability in its screenplay; and as a result even though it's only two hours long, you find yourself exhausted by the time the lights come back on.
The problem, unfortunately, is that he appears and sounds too clean-cut to come off as a convincing sadak chaap. Deepika Padukone, meanwhile, succeeds in cobbling together a performance using mostly her eyes and her body language, and she pulls off the street-speak without too many hiccups either.

'Lafangey Parindey' is the kind of film that doesn't stay in your head much after you've left the cinema. And you should be happy for that!

It's a pointless, boring film. Watch it if you have 200 bucks to waste!

मीडिया मंच पर अपने साप्ताहिक कॉलम ' सौरभ की समीक्षा ' में टेलीविज़न पत्रकार सौरभ कुमार गुप्ता ने इस फ़िल्म के बारें में कुछ यूँ जिक्र किया है -



"कहानी से खिलवाड़, किरदारों के नाम पर मज़ाक, बेअसर फिल्म की मिसाल और दर्शकों साथ धोखा है लफंगे परिंदे। फिल्म की भाषा कलाकारों से, कहानी फिल्म से और दर्शक मन से इस फिल्म से जुदा नज़र आते हैं।
कहानी की याददाश्त फिल्म में खो चुकी है। परिंदों को यूं ही बदनाम किया। इस खराब फिल्म का नाम कुछ और रख लेते। "

अर्थशास्त्र में कहा जाता है जहाँ 5 अर्थशास्त्री होते है वहां 6 विचार होते है . मतलब यह है की अर्थशास्त्रियों की राय कभी एक जैसी नहीं होती . कुछ ऐसा ही हाल फ़िल्म समीक्षकों का भी है . इसके वावजूद हम कहेंगें की दूसरों के कहे पर मत जाओं और अपनी अक्ल लगाओं . यानि फ़िल्म देखने या ना देखेने का फ़ैसला आप ख़ुद करें .
